deCDN
Decentralized content delivery network where anyone can serve bytes and clients pay per megabyte in USDC
A decentralized CDN where independent operators compete to deliver content at ~$0.01/GB, up to 90% below legacy CDN pricing, with per-megabyte USDC settlement.
Overview

The deCDN homepage
deCDN is a decentralized content delivery network that inverts the traditional CDN model. Anyone can operate nodes to serve bytes, while clients pay only for what they use in USDC, with no monthly minimums or contracts. Files stay in your existing storage (S3, R2, B2 or local disk) and are cached by independent operators competing on price and performance. Users download through a client SDK integrated into apps, with content verified chunk-by-chunk using BLAKE3 hashing, automatic failover between nodes, and support for simultaneous downloads from multiple nodes. The network currently operates as a public testnet on Arbitrum Sepolia with open-source code, targeting a price of $0.01/GB.
Capabilities
- BLAKE3 chunk verification for every byte
- Multi-node parallel downloads for files over 64 MiB
- Automatic resumption on connection drop
- Per-node price negotiation in USDC
- Price ceiling enforcement on client side
- No wallet or crypto required for users
- SDK support for macOS, Linux, Windows
- On-chain CapacityBond registry for node discovery
- Public on-chain content blacklist governance
- Node bond enforcement for quote integrity
Pricing
Pricing model: Paid
Per-megabyte settlement in USDC; target network price $0.01/GB; node operators set their own per-megabyte rates signed into each quote

Buyer questions
How do I put my files on deCDN?
Set up origin nodes in front of your storage (S3-compatible bucket, NFS mount, or local disk) and join the network. Your files stay where they are. Once approved, the network accepts your nodes as origins and caches your content as users request it.
Do my users need a wallet or crypto?
No. You fund a USDC pool and your users download from it with no wallet, token, or sign-up. Each user gets their own allowance so they can only spend what you allow.
How do my users download?
Through your own app, integrated with the deCDN client SDK. Users never see deCDN. The SDK pulls each file from several nodes at once, verifies every piece as it arrives, and resumes if the connection drops. It runs on macOS, Linux, Windows, with phone and browser support in testing.
What stops illegal content?
Governance maintains a public, on-chain blacklist of content hashes network-wide or per region. Nodes have 24 hours to stop serving listed hashes, and repeated offenses result in network removal. Every entry is public and can be reviewed or appealed.
I already have a bucket in S3, R2 or B2. Why add deCDN?
Keep the bucket. It becomes the origin behind deCDN, read only on a cache miss and never exposed to the network, so you stop paying its egress on every download. Your files are served instead by many independent operators close to your users, large files from several of them at once, and when a node drops the download carries on from the next one. Operators compete on every request, so an open market sets your delivery price rather than one vendor's egress rates.
