Overview
The Dumb Phone™ homepage
Dumb Phone™ helps you avoid distractions and dopamine hits on your iPhone by transforming it into a minimalist phone. The app replaces colorful app icons, wallpapers, and notification badges with simple text buttons, letting you quickly access your essential apps. You can create multiple app launchers for different contexts like work and leisure, customize the theme, font, and colors, and even automate your minimalist home screen with shortcuts. After using it for a month, the creator noticed screen time nosedived and found themselves only opening apps when truly needed, since removing visual icons eliminates the dopamine association with tapping them.
