Flostep lets you create interactive diagrams by dragging components like Frontend, Service, Database, Cache, Queue and External API onto a canvas, connecting them with labeled arrows showing interactions, and then stepping through each interaction one at a time. You can generate shareable public links that let anyone walk through your diagram without an account, embed the full walkthrough in Notion, Confluence or your documentation with a single iframe, and collect feedback through comments on shared links. The tool integrates with AI assistants via Model Context Protocol so Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients can build diagrams from descriptions or your codebase, and you can keep diagrams as text files in your repository, updating them from the terminal or CI/CD.

Can Claude or Cursor build diagrams for me?
Yes. Flostep is an MCP server, so any assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol—Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf—can create, read, edit, and share your diagrams. Create an API key, connect it once, then ask in plain language.
How does sharing work?
One click generates a public, read-only link. Anyone can step through your flow interactively without an account. You can also embed the full walkthrough in Notion, Confluence, or your docs with a single iframe.
What happens to my diagrams if I downgrade?
Your diagrams are never deleted. On a personal account, going over the Free limit of 3 makes the older ones read-only until you delete some or upgrade again. A team's library closes while the subscription is inactive and reopens untouched as soon as it becomes active again.
