InvoiceIn is an inbound e-invoice API that accepts multiple e-invoice formats and returns them as canonical EN 16931 JSON. The service processes documents in memory with no storage, providing validation reports with plain-language fix hints, human-readable PDF or HTML renderings, and exports to CSV or DATEV formats.
The API supports XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X, Peppol BIS 3, FatturaPA, KSeF, and other regional formats including France's CTC-FR and Romania's e-Factura. It includes rule validation against official standards, arithmetic cross-checks, and can explain failed validation rules in multiple languages.
Designed for AP and bookkeeping SaaS, ERP and shop plugins, and agencies building SMB tooling, InvoiceIn integrates with existing systems without requiring Peppol access point setup. The service offers an MCP server for AI agents and supports both cloud API and on-premise Docker deployment.

Buyer questions
Is this a Peppol access point?
No. InvoiceIn is the receiving side that works with whatever your access point, mailbox, portal download or customer upload delivers—Peppol BIS 3 files included. Sending and network delivery stay with your existing provider.
Do you store my invoices?
No. Each request is parsed, validated and rendered in memory and discarded when the response is sent. No document is ever written to disk, and there is no queue, cache or log of document contents.
Can I run it on-premise?
Yes, a Docker image with the same endpoints and the MCP server is available on request, useful when supplier invoices must not leave your network.
What about Factur-X BASIC and MINIMUM profiles?
They are checked against the Factur-X 1.09.2 Schematron for the declared profile, plus schema and arithmetic. The EN 16931 core rules apply from the EN 16931 profile up; lower profiles are judged by their own rules instead.
