Overview
The Kishi Notch homepage
Kishi Notch is a native Swift application for macOS that brings your MacBook's notch to life. The app creates a soft, interactive island that displays music playback with album art and controls, upcoming calendar meetings with one-click join buttons, app notifications with reply functionality, timer and stopwatch controls, AirPods and Bluetooth device battery levels, Focus status, volume and brightness indicators, and Claude Code integration. The island adapts between three shapes: compact for minimal display, expanded for full details, and bubble mode when multiple activities occur simultaneously.
Beyond the notch, Kishi Notch provides a highly customizable menu bar battery indicator showing percentage, charging status, power consumption with live watts and graphs, battery health information, and temperature readings. The app prioritizes privacy by design: it requires no account, contains no tracking or analytics, and keeps all personal data on your Mac. Optional permissions are available for calendar access, full disk access for notifications and Focus status, accessibility for notification banners, and location for weather. The app supports English and Turkish languages.

Buyer questions
Does Kishi Notch collect any data?
No. There is no account, analytics or tracking. Your battery stats and calendar events are read on your Mac and never leave it. Only weather, lyrics, license activation and the daily update check go online, each sending only what is needed.
Which players does Now Playing support?
Music, Spotify, TV and media playing in browsers such as Safari and Chrome, including YouTube. If more than one thing is playing, the island lists every source so you can switch with a click.
Is it a subscription?
No. You can try it free for 7 days, then pay $19.99 once. The license is yours to keep and covers 2 of your Macs.
Does it work on a Mac without a notch?
Yes. On Macs and displays without a notch, the island drops from the top center of the screen. Everything works the same, except hover-to-peek, which needs a notch.
