The PhysicsBase homepage

PhysicsBase is a platform that manages identity and access control for AI agents. Instead of agents holding API keys directly, PhysicsBase gives each agent its own identity while keeping API keys encrypted in a secure vault that agents never access. The platform enforces scoped access policies, logs every API call with the agent's identity and reason, and provides rate and daily limits to prevent runaway loops. Teams can revoke individual agents or entire fleets with one click, and get a complete audit trail showing which agent made each call and why.

Capabilities

  • Each agent gets its own identity with unique key and ID
  • Credential vault keeping API keys encrypted and inaccessible to agents
  • Scoped access policies controlling what each agent can do
  • Complete audit trail of every registration, token and API call
  • Kill switch to revoke one agent, a fleet or one API connection
  • Alerts sent to Slack or email when limits are hit or policy violations occur
  • Integration with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and LangChain
  • SDKs for Node and Python plus proxy for any API

Pricing

Pricing model: Free

Free plan includes every feature: identity, vault, limits, audit trail, alerts, kill switch, teams. Up to 25 active agents and 100,000 requests per month per organisation. Custom pricing for more than 25 agents or 100,000 requests per month.

Buyer questions

Why would I trust you with my API keys?

Keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and kept separately from the database. No agent ever receives the key; PhysicsBase adds it to requests on the way out. Calls to private and internal network addresses are refused. You can rotate or remove a key anytime, every use is logged, and you can export or delete all data whenever needed.

Does it slow my agents down?

Calls through the vault take one extra network hop through PhysicsBase. For agents that spend seconds thinking between calls, that rarely matters.

How is this different from Okta, Auth0 or an API gateway?

Identity providers manage people and their logins. API gateways protect APIs you run yourself. PhysicsBase sits on the agent's side: it gives each agent an identity, holds the keys to other companies' APIs, and enforces your limits on every call those agents make.

What happens if PhysicsBase is down?

Calls through it stop rather than going out unchecked: an agent can't skip its limits because PhysicsBase didn't answer. The service is checked from outside around the clock and the team is alerted automatically when anything fails.

Is it really free?

Yes, every feature is included up to 25 active agents and 100,000 requests a month per organisation, with no card required. Paid plans for very large fleets will come later, and nothing set up now will need to change.
