The PinSharing homepage
PinSharing is a map API for listing sites, marketplaces and local services. It provides static map images, address geocoding, and interactive map tiles built on OpenStreetMap data. The service runs on PinSharing's own servers and offers a privacy area mode that shows a neighbourhood instead of an exact address, making it safe for real estate listings and local services.
All plans include commercial use rights and the ability to keep what you build. Paid plans let you cache static images and store geocoding results indefinitely, even after canceling. The service uses flat monthly pricing with hard caps that never result in overage bills.

Buyer questions
Is it really free to start?
Yes. The Free plan requires no card and allows commercial use with 100 static images, 10,000 address lookups and 10,000 map tiles per month. Free images carry a small pinsharing.com mark, and Free results may be stored for 30 days. New accounts also get Growth's limits free for their first 14 days before moving to Free automatically with nothing charged.
What does "maps you can keep" mean?
On any paid plan you may cache static images and store geocoding results indefinitely, including in commercial products, as long as the OpenStreetMap credit goes with them. What you stored stays yours even if you cancel, which is different from many map APIs that forbid storage or charge extra for it.
What happens when I hit my cap?
That product returns HTTP 429 until the 1st of next month or until you upgrade. Your other products keep working. PinSharing emails you at 80% and at 100%, and never bills for overage.
Where does the map data come from?
Map data comes from OpenStreetMap and is rebuilt regularly. The current data is from Nov 4, 2026. Streets and towns are reliable worldwide; US house numbers vary by area while a US address dataset is being added.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, on your first payment. If PinSharing isn't right for you, email billing@pinsharing.com within 14 days of your first charge and we'll refund it in full.
