AI workflows for public finance desks
Starch automates RFP responses, issuer intelligence, and deal management for public finance teams on a single tailored AI workspace.
Overview

The Starch homepage
Starch is an AI workspace built specifically for public finance desks. It automates RFP responses, issuer intelligence, and deal management while keeping all systems and approval processes under human control. The platform arrives inside existing systems like SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams without requiring migration or retraining. Data is kept private in single-tenant deployments and never used to train models. A banker-engineer pair deploys and maintains the workflow for each desk.

Buyer questions
What makes Starch different from a horizontal finance AI platform?
Starch owns the configuration, integrations, review path and upkeep of one public finance workflow. The distinction is operating responsibility: the workflow is tailored to the desk's precedent and standards, with Starch taking responsibility for maintenance and upkeep.
What does forward deployed mean?
Forward deployed means a banker and engineer are assigned as a pair. The banker knows where work goes wrong; the engineer builds against that feedback, not a spec. They stay until it runs on the desk's own documents.
Where does data live and is it used to train models?
Data is kept in single-tenant deployment, either in the firm's cloud or Starch's, and is never pooled with another firm's data. Data is never used to train models. Access is scoped per person and team with an exportable audit trail.
Who approves what the agents produce?
The client's team always approves. Agents do preparation and surface it for review, but nothing reaches a client, issuer, or regulator without a named person approving it. Once routed for approval, an artifact is read-only.
Do we have to replace existing systems?
No. SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, the CRM, DBC Finance and the desk's own models stay as systems of record. Client-facing numbers come from the tool the firm validated.
