What is a ghost job?
A ghost job is a listing that stays visible on job boards after the company has stopped hiring for it. Sometimes the role was filled and the board never removed the posting. Sometimes it was posted to collect resumes with no actual opening behind it. Either way, time spent on the application goes nowhere.
Where do the jobs come from?
From employers' own applicant tracking systems including Greenhouse, Lever, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, Workable, and Recruitee, read through their public APIs. Nothing is scraped from another job board. The platform reads fifteen hiring systems that companies use to post their openings.
How fresh is fresh?
Every source is swept every few hours. A job appears shortly after the company posts it and closes on Unlisted when it disappears from their system. The platform keeps the exact time it last saw each role and removes postings the moment the company closes them.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes, for as long as you like. Every result and every job is open without an account, and a free account can apply to any job older than three days. Monthly and 3-month plans also include 3 free days before any charge is made.
What data does Unlisted keep about me?
Your email, the searches you save as alerts, and the resume you choose to upload for matching. Analytics run only with your consent. The company never sells your data and never shares your resume or search activity.
