The FlightFinder homepage

FlightFinder compiles and cross-references accident, incident and hazard records from 130 sources—chiefly national investigation authorities—into one searchable, citable dataset organized by aircraft type, airline and airport. Users can search any aircraft model, airline, airport or tail number to view safety profiles with accident history, incident reports and hazard data from public sources, without adjusting counts for fleet size. The platform publishes counts from the public record, not scores or grades, and includes separate datasets for NASA ASRS incident reports, FAA wildlife-strike and runway-incursion data, and airworthiness directives. The safety database is free and open to everyone; API Pro and accident dossiers are available as paid options.

Where does the safety data come from?

Accident records come from 130 sources including investigation boards such as NTSB, AAIB, BEA and MAK, plus compilers such as Aviation Safety Network and Wikidata.
