You set up a form with FormDoc's action URL and an access key, and FormDoc receives each submission, checks it for spam, and emails it to you. The service works with any website where you can add HTML, including static site generators like Astro and Hugo, frameworks like Next.js and React, and website builders like Webflow and WordPress. Forms can have up to 50 fields with up to 10,000 characters each, and the Free plan allows 250 submissions per month. The service includes spam protection through hidden honeypot fields, spam scoring, and optional CAPTCHAs, with paid plans adding features like submission inboxes, autoresponders, webhooks, and integrations with Slack and Google Sheets.

How does FormDoc stop spam?
FormDoc uses multiple layers: a hidden honeypot field that bots fill in (quietly stored as spam without emailing you), spam scoring for common spam signs like too many links or disposable email addresses, rate limits to stop floods from a single visitor, and optional CAPTCHAs like Turnstile or hCaptcha.
What happens if I reach my monthly submission limit?
FormDoc emails you at 80% and 100% of your limit. After reaching the limit, the service accepts 10% extra submissions, then pauses new submissions until the next month starts. Nothing already received is lost.
