API docs, SDKs, MCP and monitoring from your OpenAPI spec

Overview

The Octri.dev homepage
Octri is a platform for API teams that takes an OpenAPI specification and generates four products: a hosted documentation site, client SDKs in ten languages, an MCP server to expose the API as tools for AI agents, and production monitoring for those SDKs.
The platform unifies API documentation and SDK generation with built-in error tracking. Developers can generate client libraries in TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, Ruby, PHP, Rust, Swift and Dart, all published to their respective registries. The documentation editor allows hand-written guides alongside AI-generated endpoint references.
Monitoring tracks errors from inside generated SDKs in production, tagged with SDK version and language. An MCP server exposes the API and documentation as callable tools for AI agents like Claude and Cursor. All four products stay synchronized from a single specification.

Buyer questions
What does monitoring inside the SDK actually mean?
Your users install a client with an error reporter that ships switched off. Once the developer using it enables reporting, an error in production reaches you tagged with the SDK version, the language and the method that failed. Ingress is metered, so a very chatty SDK counts against your plan's monthly allowance.
Can I edit the generated docs and SDKs?
Yes, and regeneration works around your edits. Docs changes are stored per page, so a new spec revision only disturbs the endpoints that actually changed. Custom SDK code is available on Growth and above.
What happens when my spec changes?
GitHub sync defaults to a draft with a diff for you to review. When you publish a release, SDKs publish to linked registries after the build finishes if registry auto-publish is on. You can turn that switch off and publish packages manually.
Do I have to use all four products?
No. Plans are not per-product, so you can leave one switched off and turn it on months later without redoing anything you have already set up.
