Sniptide is an open-source pastebin designed for sharing code, snippets, and environment files with controlled access. It lets users create short links that expire after a set time, burn after first read, or require passwords. The service detects and warns about potential secrets like API keys before sharing. Every paste tracks view counts and access logs.
Users can share code through the hosted web service or raw URLs for piping into terminals. The MCP server and CLI enable coding agents to search, read, and save snippets. Environment files can be synced as encrypted groups. Sniptide runs on the same codebase whether hosted online or self-hosted with Docker and Postgres under the AGPL-3.0 license.
