Buyer questions
What is SourceX?
SourceX licenses business data directly from companies and pays them for it. You are the counterparty from agreement through delivery and payment. Preparation follows approved processing routes. Each deal's exact dataset, payout and terms are fixed in a signed agreement before anything is delivered.
Will my customers' or employees' information be shared?
The fit check never asks for customer or employee records. If a deal goes ahead, you approve the scope before anything leaves your company, and SourceX de-identifies the data through approved processing routes before it is used or shared.
Can I back out of a deal?
Yes, at any point before you sign, at no cost. Once an agreement is signed, its terms apply. Once a deal has closed and the fee is paid, SourceX's license is permanent.
What kind of companies qualify?
Companies best suited have 50+ full-time employees at peak and several years of operating history. SourceX prioritizes U.S. companies and also works with companies in Canada, the EU, UK, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, South Africa, Latin America, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
How long does the process take?
The first review usually takes days. Once a Dataset Deal Confirmation is signed, commercial feedback usually takes 7–14 days, preparation and delivery 7–10 days once access and inputs are ready, and acceptance review up to 30 days. These are targets, not a guaranteed total.
