Tabel is a native Mac application for managing PostgreSQL and SQLite databases. It offers fast performance even with large tables through a Rust-based database engine that keeps results in memory and renders only visible rows. Users can browse, edit, and filter data directly in the grid, write SQL queries with autocompletion, and manage SSH tunnels to reach databases behind bastions. The app supports importing connections from TablePlus, includes colour-coded environments for development and production, and provides export options in multiple formats. All user data remains private on the Mac with no account required, no analytics, and passwords stored securely in the macOS Keychain.

macOS 26 Tahoe or later, running on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

Can I import my connections from TablePlus?

Yes. Choose File › Import from TablePlus and select the folder ~/Library/Application Support/com.tinyapp.TablePlus/Data. Tabel imports names, hosts, SSH settings, groups, colours and environment tags while passwords remain in TablePlus' keychain.

Does Tabel send anything about me?

No. Tabel has no analytics or crash reporting and only connects to the servers you configure.
