Termal OS is a desktop application that turns your Linux servers into a unified interface accessible over SSH. It provides live monitoring of CPU, memory, disk, network and processes with real-time metrics and historical data with anomaly detection. The application includes a full remote desktop environment with file manager, terminal, Monaco code editor and multi-tab browser, all driven through a single reusable SSH connection.
The platform features an AI ops copilot that can diagnose and fix issues by reading your server's live context and suggesting commands for your confirmation. Smart alerts notify you via Telegram, Slack, Discord, webhook or email with per-server thresholds and escalation. It auto-detects your infrastructure including hosted sites, PHP versions, Docker containers and services.
Termal OS is agentless and local-first: everything stays on your machine with no cloud account or telemetry. SSH passwords and private keys are encrypted locally with AES-256-GCM. It requires no root access or firewall changes and works with any Linux server reached over SSH.

Is Termal OS really agentless?
Yes. Termal connects to your Linux servers over a standard SSH connection and runs lightweight commands through a reusable connection pool. There is nothing to install, no daemon to run and no extra port to open on the server side.
Where does my data go? Is it self-hosted?
Everything stays on your machine. Termal OS is a desktop app with no cloud account and no telemetry of your fleet. SSH passwords and private keys are encrypted locally with AES-256-GCM using a per-install master key.
Which servers are supported?
Any Linux server you can reach over SSH, including shared hosting, VPS or dedicated servers without requiring root. Ubuntu, Debian and most distributions are supported. Termal auto-detects the environment and adapts to managed and shared environments with control panels like Infomaniak, Plesk and cPanel.
Do I need my own API key for the AI copilot?
Yes. The copilot runs on your own LLM account and you pay your provider directly for what you use. Termal never resells tokens and adds no markup. Supported providers include Anthropic, OpenAI, Mistral, Groq, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint including local models via Ollama.
What can the AI copilot actually do?
It reads your server's live context and helps you diagnose and fix issues by suggesting shell commands that you must explicitly confirm before execution. Every execution is logged in the audit trail. It is an assistant, not an autonomous agent and each command needs your click.
