Uptimepage monitors website and API availability from multiple global regions using nine types of checks: HTTP/HTTPS, TCP, DNS, ICMP ping, TLS certificate expiry, domain expiry, cron-job heartbeat, browser login flows, and manual status updates. When a check fails, the system automatically opens an incident and alerts your team through channels like Slack, Discord, PagerDuty, email, SMS or webhooks.
On-call schedules manage who gets paged based on daily, weekly or custom rotations with holiday overrides. Escalation policies automatically page the next level if nobody acknowledges an incident. Public status pages show customers live incidents and scheduled maintenance with your branding and colors.
The platform is built with open source AGPL licensing, allowing teams to inspect the production code and self-host if needed. The API and Terraform provider work identically on both hosted and self-hosted deployments, making migration straightforward.

Can I use my own domain for the status page?
Every organization gets your-org.uptimepage.dev by default. On the Founding plan, one status page can use your own domain like status.yourcompany.com. On Pro and Team plans, every status page can use a custom domain. Setup is done by email: send the hostname, add the CNAME provided in the response, and the certificate is issued automatically.
What kinds of monitors are supported?
Uptimepage supports HTTP/HTTPS, TCP port, DNS lookup, ICMP ping, cron-job heartbeat, TLS-certificate and domain expiry checks, plus a browser login flow that signs in for real and charts how long each step takes, and manual monitors whose state you set by hand. Each monitor can include per-monitor headers, basic auth, bearer tokens, expected status codes, content matching, TLS verification, and redirect rules.
Where do alerts come from?
Alerts can be sent through Slack, Discord, Teams, Google Chat, Mattermost, Telegram, email, SMS, PagerDuty, ntfy, Pushover, Gotify, WhatsApp, or any HTTPS webhook. Each monitor can have its own escalation policy, so different alerts can page different channels or on-call schedules based on severity.
Is the free plan actually free?
Yes, the Standard plan is completely free with no credit card required, no trial clock, and no surprise billing. The product is open source, so the company is not relying on locking users in. The Standard plan will maintain its stated limits.
Can I self-host instead of using the hosted service?
Yes, fully. You can clone the repository and run docker compose up to get the whole product with no plan limits. It is licensed under AGPL and you do not need an account with Uptimepage.
