About Other
Not every product sits neatly in a named category. This page collects the SaaS listings whose founders found no better home for them: tools for narrow trades, products that blend two or more jobs, and categories of software that are still taking shape. If your search has come up empty elsewhere, start here before you widen the brief.
Treat the grid as a first pass, not a verdict. Open each profile, add the likely candidates to your shortlist tray and check them against the same criteria: the problem it solves, who it is built for, how it connects to your existing stack, and what the founder says about pricing and support. Filters help you cut the list down, and you can sort by community votes if you want to see what other buyers have backed. By default the newest listings come first.
Other: questions answered
- What kind of product belongs in Other?
- Products whose main job does not match any named category. That might be a tool for a very specific profession, a product that blends several functions, or software of a new kind. If a close category exists, founders are better placed there.
- How do I get a listing into Other?
- Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from your site, and you check and edit every field before anything goes live. You choose Other as your main category when you submit. That first category is included free.
- Can a product appear in Other and another category?
- Yes. Every listing has one main category, and a paid upgrade adds up to 3 more for $5. A founder could keep Other as the main category and add the closest named fits, so buyers browsing those pages can find the product too.
- How are listings ordered on this page?
- Newest listings appear first by default. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes. Votes can never be bought, so the vote order reflects what visitors have chosen to back, not what a founder has paid for.
- How should I compare tools in a mixed category like this?
- Fix your criteria before you open the profiles. Write down the job to be done, the team size it must serve, required integrations and support expectations. Then score each shortlisted tool against that same list, so differences in product type do not skew the comparison.
