The dmarc.quest homepage

dmarc.quest helps domain owners protect their email from impersonation and spoofing. It provides free checking of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, BIMI and transport policy records with a Report Card grade and highlighted weak spots. The service translates complex email authentication standards into plain English through AI-powered analysis that explains what each record means and which services are authorized to send from your domain.

Beyond initial diagnosis, dmarc.quest monitors your domain continuously by collecting and analyzing daily DMARC reports from Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Microsoft, Mail.ru and other receivers. Users add a single DNS line to route these reports to dmarc.quest, which reads them and alerts you only when something changes—replacing manual parsing of thousands of daily XML attachments.

The tool addresses two core email problems: anyone can put your domain name on the From line of a message, and your domain's reputation at major mailbox providers determines whether your legitimate mail reaches inboxes or spam folders. Since 2024, Google and Yahoo require authentication from bulk senders, making proper setup critical for invoices, newsletters and other transactional mail.

Capabilities

  • AI-powered plain-English analysis of email records
  • Daily DMARC report collection from major receivers
  • Automated alerts when domain configuration changes
  • Single DNS line setup for monitoring

Buyer questions

What email authentication standards does dmarc.quest check?

dmarc.quest checks SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, BIMI and transport policy records for any domain.

How does dmarc.quest protect against email spoofing?

SPF and DKIM create a list of authorized couriers and a cryptographic seal proving messages came from your domain. DMARC is a standing request to Gmail, Outlook and other providers about what to do with unauthorized mail: deliver it, quarantine it, or reject it.

What happens to my existing DMARC policy when I use dmarc.quest?

If you already have a DMARC record, dmarc.quest adds its address to it and keeps your existing policy intact, so nothing about how your mail is handled changes. You can remove dmarc.quest anytime by deleting its address from the record.

Why do DMARC records matter since 2024?

Since 2024, Google and Yahoo flat-out require authentication from anyone sending in volume. If your invoices, newsletters, or quotes keep landing in spam, proper email authentication setup is one of the first things to check.
