It sends password resets, sign-in codes, receipts and alerts kept separate from marketing mail, with a median delivery time of 4.6 seconds and 99.99% uptime. The platform includes REST APIs and SDKs for Node, Python, Go, PHP and Ruby, SMTP relay, inbound email, templates, automations, webhooks and tenants for serving multiple customers. It operates its own mail servers on dedicated IP space, so the team that built the infrastructure answers your support emails. Start free with 3,000 emails a month, then pay as you go from $15 monthly with 20,000 emails included, or use a dedicated server from $299 a month.

Free: 3,000 emails/month, 100/day, 3 domains. Pay as you go: $15/month with 20,000 emails included, then $0.70 per 1,000 from 20,000-100,000, $0.50 per 1,000 from 100,000-1 million, $0.30 per 1,000 above 1 million. Dedicated server: $299/month with 250,000 emails included, then $0.40 per 1,000.

What does Groundmail do?
Transactional email for password resets, sign-in codes, receipts, alerts and other messages that have to arrive. Plus inbound email, webhooks, templates, automations, SMTP, SDKs for five languages, a CLI and an MCP server, all on one platform.
What makes transactional mail separate from marketing mail?
Transactional, product and newsletter email each send from their own IPs with their own bounce and complaint tracking. If a newsletter goes badly, your password resets keep landing.
Do you support SMTP?
Yes. Connect to smtp.groundmail.dev on port 587 with an SMTP credential from the dashboard. Same verified domains, limits and suppressions as the HTTP API.
Can AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor set it up?
Yes. Connect the Groundmail MCP server and an assistant like Claude Code or Cursor can verify domains, send test emails and check delivery for you.
What does it mean that you own the infrastructure?
We run our own mail servers on our own IP space, operated by a team that has run MTAs at scale and worked with Google Postmaster and Spamhaus directly. When something needs fixing, the people who can fix it are the people you emailed.
