DomainCanary
DMARC enforcement without blocking your mail
A DMARC monitoring service that helps you move your domain to p=reject one step at a time with automatic rollback if a step blocks your own email.
Overview

The DomainCanary homepage
DomainCanary is a DMARC enforcement service that protects your domain from email spoofing without blocking your own email. The service reads your daily DMARC reports from Gmail, Microsoft, Yahoo and other mail providers, and sends you a weekly digest showing who sent mail as your domain and whether they passed authentication checks.
On paid plans, you can use guided enforcement to move your DMARC policy gradually from p=none to p=reject with automatic steps. The service includes hosted DMARC that publishes policy changes through the dashboard instead of DNS edits. If a step blocks legitimate mail from senders you marked as yours, DomainCanary automatically rolls back to the previous policy and alerts you.
The Business plan and above include hosted SPF and MTA-STS records, SPF cleanup checks to identify unused senders, and DKIM key cleanup. MSPs and agencies can use the Portfolio plan to manage multiple client domains with scoped access and client-branded reports.
The free plan covers one domain with the Monday digest and basic sender grading. Every plan includes two-step sign-in, and the Enterprise plan offers single sign-on through Entra ID, Google Workspace or Okta.

Buyer questions
Will adding a DMARC record break my email?
No. Your first record uses p=none, which gets you reports while receivers handle your mail the same as before.
What happens if a step blocks my own email?
DomainCanary watches reports after each step for usually 3 days. If a sender you marked as yours gets 20+ percentage points more messages quarantined or refused than before, the previous policy is automatically restored and you are emailed.
How long until my domain is fully protected?
Usually a few weeks. DomainCanary needs 14 days of reports before the first step, then waits for new reports after each step before proposing the next one.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan covers 1 domain with the Monday digest and every sender graded, with no end date. Guided enforcement, hosted DMARC, and rollback require the Starter plan and up.
What do you do with my report data?
DomainCanary turns reports into your digest, alerts, and dashboard. Aggregate reports list sending servers and message counts, not message content, and are shared only with service providers listed in the privacy policy.
