FocusCal is an async scheduling and time blocking application designed for people who want to protect their focus time. Instead of using traditional booking links that let visitors claim your open slots instantly, FocusCal uses a request-based model where guests submit what they need and how long it takes, which lands in your private inbox.
You maintain full control by deciding when and if to schedule each request by dragging it onto your calendar as a time block. Your public scheduling page shows only your busy and free availability—never event titles or details. Guests can attach files and notes to provide context before you commit time.
The platform is built around time blocking, the practice of assigning every task a dedicated block on your calendar. It handles timezones automatically, so requests and slots convert seamlessly for participants across continents.

Time blocking is the practice of assigning every task a dedicated block on your calendar instead of keeping a flat to-do list. FocusCal is built around this: tasks live in your backlog until you drag them into real time slots.
Is my schedule private?
Yes. Guests only see anonymized busy blocks—titles, details, and private tasks are never exposed. Tasks marked private show up on your public page as busy with no other information.
Does FocusCal handle time zones?
Yes. Guests see your availability in their own time zone, and your calendar always displays in yours, so scheduling across continents requires no mental math.
