InboxWire provides disposable email addresses that can only receive mail. Addresses are generated instantly without signup, arrive live in the browser, and disappear after a set time. Tracking pixels and scripts are automatically stripped from messages. The service also offers a REST API for developers to create disposable inboxes programmatically, extract one-time passcodes automatically, and integrate email verification testing into automated test suites. On the Pro plan, you can use your own custom domain to avoid blocklists.

What is a temporary email address?

A temporary email address is a disposable inbox that receives mail for a short time and then deletes itself. You use it to sign up for something without giving out your real address. InboxWire addresses last 10 minutes by default in the browser and can be extended, or up to 7 days through the API.

Do I need to sign up to use InboxWire?

No. The temporary inbox on the homepage needs no account, no email address and no card. An account is only required for API access.

Can I send email from a temporary address?

No. InboxWire is receive-only by design, which keeps it from being used as a spam relay.

How long do messages last?

Browser inboxes live 10 minutes from creation and can be extended. API inboxes use the TTL you set, up to 1 hour on Free, 1 day on Starter and 7 days on Pro. When an inbox expires its messages are deleted permanently.

Are tracking pixels blocked?

Yes. Every image is stripped from message HTML before it is stored, which defeats tracking pixels. Scripts and event handlers are removed too.
