Ovatly is a testimonial collection tool built for freelancers and small businesses. It provides one personal collection link that clients use to write testimonials in about 90 seconds without creating an account. The founder approves every testimonial before it appears publicly on a Wall of Love, which can be shared as a standalone link or embedded on a website.
The product is deliberately simple: text testimonials only, collected through a single link with a star rating, a few words prompted by a starter phrase, and the client's name. No website is required to use Ovatly; your Wall of Love has its own shareable link suitable for Instagram bios, WhatsApp, or email proposals.
Ovatly charges a flat monthly price with no per-testimonial or per-workspace fees. The free beta plan allows collection of the first 5 testimonials with no credit card required. The paid plan provides unlimited testimonials and the ability to embed testimonials on your own website.

Is Ovatly really free?
Ovatly has a free beta plan that gives you 5 testimonials with no credit card required. If you need more, the paid plan is $12 per month, or $9 per month on the founding rate which is locked forever for early members. Every paid account includes unlimited testimonials and the embeddable Wall of Love.
Do I need a website to use Ovatly?
No. Your Wall of Love has its own shareable link, so you can put it in an Instagram bio, send it on WhatsApp, or drop it into a proposal email. If you do have a website, the paid plan includes an embeddable version of your wall so testimonials can live on your own pages too.
How is Ovatly different from testimonial.to?
testimonial.to bundles text testimonials with video infrastructure, case studies, and NPS surveys, priced from $25 per month. Ovatly does one thing: text testimonials, collected with one link in about 90 seconds, at a fraction of the price. The free plan covers your first 5 testimonials, and the paid plan is $12 per month.
Does Ovatly collect video testimonials?
No, and that is deliberate. Ovatly is text-only by design. Most freelancers never use video testimonial features, but on bigger platforms they still pay for the video infrastructure behind them. If video is your main format, testimonial.to or a dedicated video tool is the better fit.
Does the person leaving a testimonial need an account?
No. Your client opens your single collection link, picks a star rating, writes a few words starting from a prompt like “Working with them meant...”, and adds their name. The whole thing takes about 90 seconds. You then approve every word before it appears on your public Wall of Love, so nothing you have not seen goes live.
