Traverse
High-performance graph database
An open-source, high-performance graph database that runs on your own infrastructure with support for Cypher and GQL queries, available as a browser
Overview

The Traverse homepage
Traverse is an open-source graph database developed by Truespar, a research division of The Intelligence Company AB (publ). It provides high-performance graph storage and querying capabilities with support for Cypher and GQL (ISO/IEC 39075) query languages.
The database is available in three deployment models: as a browser-based application running WebAssembly with no server required, as a self-hosted server that can be deployed on Linux, Windows, or Docker, or as embedded SDKs for .NET, Python, Java, Node.js, and Go.
Traverse supports multiple connection protocols including Bolt (5.1 to 6.0), HTTP API, and gRPC. It includes Studio, a web-based query editor and graph visualization tool, and implements the APOC library and graph algorithms. Data can be imported from CSV files, Cypher scripts, or loaded programmatically through the embedded SDKs.
The database is self-hosted by design, with data kept on your own infrastructure. It runs on modern hardware and is used in production at The Intelligence Company.
